44% of students receive a job offer at their internship company
Internships at companies are key to put into practice what is learnt in class, as well as to make our students’ step into the world of work easier once they graduate. Last year, 44% of Bachelor students at their third and last academic course received a job offer at the company where they were carrying out their internship. This is according to data gathered by the Career Starter department of TBS Barcelona.
All TBS Bachelor in Management students carry out compulsory full-time internships each year of the programme, after the end of lecture period. Students are responsible for finding their own internship programmes as part of their learning (always with the support and tutelage of the Career Starter team). Therefore, internship offers may vary yearly according to the needs of the companies.
The funcional areas which are the most common are marketing (33% of students), sales and exports (22%) and finance (11%).
Among the wide diversity of sectors in which our students do their internships, there is a prevalence of sectors such as the agro-food industry, tourism, financial services and business related to retail and e-commerce.
