Our MSc International Business students visited Ibercompound, a Spanish company leader in manufacturing chemical products for the automotive sector. Consequently, is a great example of success for our students, since Ibercompound has managed to position itself on top of the Industrial Washing and Cleaning industry.

Reasons why our International Business students attended this workshop

This activity has allowed them to see first-hand the facilities of their factory in Moià, where they were shown the whole manufacturing process and packaging of their products, as well as a wash car with an alkaline product. Furthermore, they learnt more about mini-market distribution, which is one topic included in the challenges the students are currently working through.

On the same afternoon, Alessandro Ingrasia, the CEO of Co.Mark, gave a masterclass to our students. He is an expert on SMEs’ internationalisation, which is the branch that his consulting company focuses on.

However, from now on, MSc International Business students will be trying to solve the challenge tutored by Ryan Armstrong and Jonathan Calleja, Universitat de Barcelona (UB) professors who are involved in StartUB!, a program destined to advisement, incubation and formation for start-ups and entrepreneurship.
