Following her unanimous election by the Board of Directors, from 1 October Stéphanie Lavigne will become the new Director General of TBS Education, replacing François Bonvalet, who has been at the helm of the institution for the last 5 years. Lavigne, 44, with a PhD in Economic Sciences, will be the first woman to lead TBS Education and she is taking office after demonstrating her initiative and effectiveness during the recent reforms that have been carried out at the school. A Strategy Lecturer since 2003 and Dean of the Faculty from September 2014 to December 2018, since then Stéphanie has held the position of Deputy Director General, during which time she has initiated changes that have contributed to the academic strengthening and internationalisation of the teaching staff, while always ensuring respect for gender equality.

Lavigne has accepted the position “with honour, enthusiasm and determination” and is excited to become CEO of “an institution with a strong academic reputation, multiple pillars of excellence and an ambitious strategy for development”.
