Professor of Information Systems and Data Science, and Head of Research at TBS Education Samuel Fosso Wamba has been named on of the most cited researchers in the world, representing a 1% in the 2022 ranking published by Clarivate™.

This is the third year in a row that Professor Fosso Wamba achieves this accomplishment, being listed as a “Highly Cited Researcher” by Clarivate. Consequently, holding the 2020, 2021 and 2022 influence, Fosso Wamba is considered one of the most remarkable experts in the field.

This year, he has been cited 2.200 times based on his 37 publications in Web of Science™.

This Clarivate ranking is published annually with the aim of giving recognition to the most influential researchers: “the true pioneers in their fields over the last decade, demonstrated by the production of multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in the Web of Science™.”

This year’s edition gathers an identification of 6.938 researchers worldwide. In addition to this, Clarivate sought for diversity in order to cover different areas, reaching 22 expertise fields (chemistry, data, biology, agriculture…).
