This year, the moat of Barcelona’s Montjuïc Castle will be hosting the 16th edition of the Sala Montjuïc open-air film festival.

The selection of films, which will be shown from 29 June to 3 August, will combine classics such as “Psycho” with more recent releases like “Call Me by Your Name”, “The Shape of Water”, “Phantom Thread” and “Manchester by the Sea”. The original versions of all the films will be screened with Spanish subtitles.

Each screening will be accompanied by a concert which will take place before the film and general admission will be €6 (in advance) or €6.50 (at the box office). Admission for children aged 6 to 12 is €4, and children under 6 can enter for free.

Spectators can bring their own chairs and food, but there will also be a bar and lounger service available at the Sala Montjuïc.
