Florent Deisting is appointed as the Director of Societal Transition for TBS Education. He will be in charge of guiding the school in terms of societal responsibility and sustainable development.
Deisting’s position is well deserved, since he has had a remarkable experience in the field, such as being head of Development and Innovation department for ESC Pau Business School for 5 years, where he acquired knowledge of higher education and research, which allowed him to implement innovative pedagogical projects in the last years.
In addition, Deisting holds significant titles, including a Doctorate in Economics (University of Pau), an HDR in Economics and Finance (University of Bordeaux) and many research publications about management, innovation, B2B markets, and international development, among others.
He aims that this is a great chance to have an impact in the future, not only in education, but also in the methodology of teaching. Deisting is looking forward to developing a several transversal projects involving teaching, companies, research, and accreditations in order to accomplish all four points of the TBS Education mission.
The purpose of TBS Education is spreading awareness about socio-environmental issues among students, teachers, and professionals. Thus, we have been suggesting actions such as the Climate Action Program, the CSR certificate of excellence, the Equal ID course, and the ANEDD conference.
Making research accessible is one of the goals of TBS, especially throughout excellence in sustainable development and societal responsibility. Many experts are involved in this initiative regarding diversity, gender marketing, circular marketing, and environment.
Scholarship holders are a priority for TBS Education in order to promote diversity, interculturality and integration, as well as accessibility to an enhanced employability.
Promoting partnerships is a useful tool for TBS Education to reach a sustainable and responsible economy, and TBSeeds is, for instance, a successful action for students to learn properly about entrepreneurship.
