Prize Day Awards Ceremony 2023 for the Student Recognition Awards
published on 01.03.23
Yesterday, we celebrated our first ever Prize Awards Ceremony in our new campus. This ceremony stands for the recognition of students that made a remarkable labour not only in the academic field, but also when it comes to commitment, support and responsibility.
The criteria
These awards hold a special meaning because of the used criteria: every student was eligible to be nominated by other students and teachers. In fact, our Director of Studies, Gabriel Zúñiga, pointed out how important it is to celebrate values that prepare our students as future leaders.
In the same way, Ryan Donno, our international student coordinator, highlighted the sense of community that has been built, which is something that should make us proud.
The winners
These awards contained four different categories:
- Omar El Khatib, for Best Student Initiative
- Juan Gasca Aristeguieta, for the Inspiring Award
- Annas El Guennouni, for the Social Responsibility Award
- Isabelle Moreno, for the Student Engagement Award
We would also want to have a special mention to Carolina Dos Santos Van-Dunem Cordeiro, who delighted us with two musical performances. Finally, after the ceremony, our students were offered some snacks in the Attic area.
