TBS Education has a new president. He is Pierre Hurstel, elected by the TBS Board od Directors as the school’s new president, with the support of the office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Toulouse (CCIT). Hurstel replaces Philippe Robardey, who has chaired TBS since 2017.
The new president has a long history at TBS, having served as director of the TBS Foundation, president of the TBS Alumni Association, and founder of Matière à Réflexion. In his professional career, he has been an Audit Partner at Belou Malissard and in Ernst & Young. Later, he has also been HR Director in Paris and London for Ernst & Young.
Stéphanie Lavigne, General Director of TBS, has announced the election of the new president and has celebrated the decision of the board of directors. Besides, she has reminded the school’s accomplishments under Philippe Robardey’s leadership. Robardey has helped to reaffirm TBS’ excellence, obtaining once more the triple accreditation (AACSB, Equis, AMBA), and has set in motion the construction of the two campuses. “I am delighted with the appointment of Pierre Hurstel, administrator of the school for 5 years, with whom we will continue the ambitious development of our school and deploy our strategic plan to make TBS Education shine”, has written Lavigne.
Philippe Robardey has stressed the importance for TBS of having stable governance for the new strategic plan for 2026. Something he is confident will be achieved with Hurstel’s expertise, professional network, and attachment to the school.
“I am proud of this appointment, because the alumnus that I am, knows what he owes to his Alma Mater. Accompanying TBS Education makes sense when you belong to this beautiful community that has benefited from the excellence of its degrees.”
Pierre Hurstel
