The strength of a great school can often be measured by the relevance of its alumni network. In that regard, our network includes Fabien Delubac, Philippe Gelis, and Serina Ragai Nassif, alumni of TBS Education in Barcelona campus who are now also the stars of the latest TBS Alumni Project campaign. At an event on 29 January, the school presented its most recent project which intends to showcase the success stories of its graduates and the importance of continuing to build relationships after graduation.

TBS Alumni Project campaign

In total, there will be three stories of three alumni who have now become key professionals in their respective sectors. The Casa Bonay Hotel was the venue chosen to host the guests of the TBS Alumni Project presentation, with the event being attended by both alumni – including the campaign’s stars – and the school’s staff. Delphine Arnau, the head of Career Services, took the floor to introduce the screening of the videos.

The first featured Fabien Delubac, one of the directors of the IT Corporate & Industrial Applications Area at the Competency Centre in Grifols, a Spanish multinational company that specialises in the pharmaceutical and hospital sector. Next came Philippe Gelis, a graduate of the Double Master’s Degree in Business Strategy & Management who is now the co-founder and CEO of Kantox. This startup, which focuses on financial and investment services through new technologies, launched in 2011 in Barcelona and already has a presence in 70 countries, with more than 3,500 clients on its roster.

Lastly, Serina Ragai Nassif concluded the screenings and the round of speeches began. Egypt-born Serina stayed in Barcelona and now occupies the position of Export Manager at Mas Rodó Vitivinícola, a family-owned winery in the municipality of Sant Joan de Mediona. Serina explained that her time at TBS Education in Barcelona provided her with tools and new skills that she continues to use each day, and that the experience during the shooting of the campaign was very positive. An opinion that was shared by both Fabien and Philippe.

The school’s director, Olivier Benielli, also took the floor to celebrate the launch of this exciting project and the many others that are in the pipeline, such as the construction of the new campus in Barcelona and its planned opening in late 2021. This campus will be located in the Poblenou neighbourhood’s 22@ technology district and will cover an area of 8,000 m2 with capacity for 1,100 students.

TBS Education and its Alumni Network

The TBS Alumni network encompasses more than 46,000 graduates who are located in over 70 countries. They maintain a very close relationship with the school, as they are involved in the recruitment and career guidance of students, the education provided, and the prestige of the school. In Spain, the network is comprised of more than 300 former Bachelor’s and Master’s students from the campuses in Toulouse, Barcelona and Casablanca.

Various services are made available to alumni, such as networking events, through which they create friendships, share their experiences and engage in professional collaborations. These events include monthly afterworks, promotional dinners, wine tastings and themed conferences. In addition, TBS Education provides personalised support during the development of its students’ professional careers with services that include access to job boards, individual interviews, career and professional orientation reviews, alumni yearbooks and themed group workshops.

TBS Education also provide students with Business Starter to help them to develop business projects and other student services.
