How would you describe your one-year program at TBS Education?

Honestly, my one-year program at TBS Education-Barcelona was an incredible journey. I had the chance to meet some really bright and inspiring people—both fellow students and seasoned professionals—as well as professors who were truly experts in their fields. The program wasn’t overly heavy on study hours, which was great because it meant that the learning was intense and engaging during class time. This setup left me with plenty of free time to enjoy the amazing city of Barcelona and dive into my personal hobbies and activities. It struck a perfect balance between solid academic preparation and personal freedom, making the whole experience both enriching and enjoyable.

Was it a theoretical or practical program?

It was actually a solid mix of both theory and practice, which I found to be just right. We delved into the theoretical aspects of digital transformation, getting a good grasp of the underlying concepts and frameworks. But we also got plenty of hands-on experience, especially focused on the consulting side of digital transformation. This practical approach meant we could apply what we learned directly to real-world scenarios, which made the material feel relevant and actionable. Overall, the balance between theory and practice made the program excellent and highly engaging.

What was your master’s thesis about?

My master’s thesis was titled “Sustainable AI and AI for Sustainability: High Awareness, Behavioral Barriers, and Technological Lock-in Among Young Educated Adults.” In a nutshell, I explored how young, educated adults perceive and are concerned about sustainability issues related to artificial intelligence. I looked into why, despite high awareness, there are behavioral barriers and a sort of technological “lock-in” that prevent people from adopting more sustainable AI practices. It was fascinating to dive into these topics and shed light on the challenges and opportunities in making AI more sustainable.

How do you see yourself in the future?

Right now, I’m gearing up to start a job in consulting, which I’m really excited about. But I’m also considering the possibility of pursuing a PhD in the future. I’m passionate about continuing my research, especially in areas related to sustainable AI and digital innovation. So, I see myself balancing both professional work and academic pursuits, aiming to make a meaningful impact in the field while keeping my options open for further learning and growth.

Did you like the campus?

Absolutely! The TBS Education-Barcelona campus was modern and well-equipped, providing a great environment for learning and collaboration. The facilities were top-notch, and the atmosphere was both professional and welcoming. And then there’s Barcelona itself—what an amazing city! It’s full of life, culture, and endless things to do. I met so many wonderful people and made lasting friendships. Between the vibrant city life and the excellent campus facilities, my time there was truly unforgettable.

I would highly recommend TBS Barcelona to anyone considering it. The year I spent there was one of the best of my life. The program offers a fantastic mix of quality education and practical experience, all set in one of the most exciting cities in the world. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, the curriculum is relevant and engaging, and the community is diverse and friendly. If you’re thinking about it, I’d say go for it—you won’t regret embarking on this amazing experience.
