Sustainable Business Program content
The Business for sustainability course has three milestones:
Milestone 1: “Society and environment”
Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the profound impact that modern society has on the environment. This module will equip you with foundational knowledge about the interplay between economic activities and climate change consequences, and the efforts by public and private organizations to mitigate these effects and bring social and environmental justice.
Millstone 2: “Organizations and sustainability”,
Robust understanding of how to integrate sustainability thinking into organizational practices. This knowledge and experience will not only make you a valuable asset to any organization but also position you as a leader in driving sustainable change in the corporate/organisational world. It offers circle of company visits, movie debates and round tables to develop multidisciplinary and multidimensional understanding of governance mechanisms and managerial activities needed to achieve collective sustainability.
Millstone 3: “Individual skills for sustainability”
Becoming influential agents of change within organizations. This milestone focuses on developing the ethical personal skills and sustainability mindset necessary to drive practices for sustainability at an individual and organizational level.
Academic content
Module 1: Society and environment
Understand the impact of human activity on the environment and the Gaia Hypothesis. Learn about climate stakes and theoretical underpinnings to critically assess today’s human activities. And study international climate policies and their impact on organizational activities.

Module 2: Organizations for sustainability
Explore the pivotal role of corporate governance in shaping sustainability performance, distinguishing between traditional and sustainable business models, and understanding the importance of sustainable and non-financial reporting. Delve into sustainability challenges across supply chain management, finance, marketing, and people management, while engaging in company visits and round tables to address social transition issues within organizations.

Module 3: Individual skills for Sustainability
Cultivate ethical thinking in business by addressing specific dilemmas and controversies, applying tools for rigorous analysis to make sound decisions in complex organizational contexts, and achieve greater sustainability through enhanced well-being of mind, body, and social relationships.

Qualification obtained
