Program content
The Master of Science in Digital Transformation & Business Innovation follows the new business paradigm, establishing digital strategies and data analytics right in the middle.
The course takes place over 3 terms. Thus, during the 1st term and 2nd term, you will learn concepts such as digital technologies, digital strategies, Generative AI (eg ChatGPT) and Data Governance along with the most advanced data based tools such as Microsoft Azure and Tableau.
Moreover, you will work on a Company Consulting Project to put into practice what you have learned in class with a real-life company. Finally, you will embark on a Learning Trip.
In the final 3rd term, you will be requested to prepare a Master’s Dissertation. Also, you will have the opportunity to undertake a 4-to-6-month internship in a top national or international company.
Embedded in the program course, you will benefit from the Soft Skills Certificate and our Optional Language Course.

This first unit focuses on identify opportunities and create innovative solutions in the digital landscape. The unit emphasizes building entrepreneurial mindsets, focusing on digital business models and disruptive technologies. The students develop critical thinking and analytical abilities to tackle complex business challenges.

This unit focuses on how artificial intelligence can drive innovation and inform key business decisions. Students will explore how companies can leverage digital technologies to create new value propositions and revenue streams. This unit explores is focused on designing efficient data systems for businesses. It also covers Data Regulation and Security, ensuring compliance with privacy laws like GDPR and maintaining ethical data practices. Additionally, the unit addresses Circular Economy and Data Analytics, using data to support sustainable business models and reduce environmental impact.

Customer Behaviour & Programming
This unit covers Generative AI & Chatbot Design, where students learn to create AI-driven conversational agents that enhance customer interaction. In Datathon Toulouse, students engage in a competitive, real-world data analysis event, applying advanced data science skills. The CRM & Customer Behaviour section focuses on leveraging data to understand customer behavior and improve customer relationship management strategies. Lastly, Digital Marketing and AI explores how AI can optimize digital marketing efforts, from personalized campaigns to predictive analytics for better decision-making.

It also explores the strategic deployment of emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Lastly, provides students with the tools and techniques to effectively manage digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful execution.

This unit focuses on the ethical implications of digital transformation and its social impact. Research Methods
This unit focuses on research methods, topics and dynamics in digital transformation in order to help you design and achieve your thesis dissertation project.

Company Consulting Mission (SESAME)
You will become a consultant during a two-week, real-life, transversal, consultancy assignment!
A TBS partner company will submit a topical strategic issue to the class in a letter of engagement.
With support from TBS professors, students will work on a strategic diagnosis to analyze the company’s competitive position. Finally, they will propose strategic and operational recommendations to meet the challenges faced by the company.
This hands-on project will allow you to put into practice the skills and knowledge you have obtained during your MSc program.

Learning trip
As part of the MSc in Digital Transformation and Business Innovation, you will participate in an immersive three-day learning journey in Toulouse, where you will collaborate in a dynamic Hackathon. This event will focus on applying Generative AI, organized in partnership with the TBS Center of Excellence on AI, led by Professor Kevin Carillo. You will work closely with MSc Data Science & AI students, combining your knowledge of digital transformation with cutting-edge AI technologies to develop innovative solutions that address real-world business challenges. This experience offers hands-on exposure to the future of AI-driven business innovation.

Cutting-Edge industry certifications
The MSc in Digital Transformation and Business Innovation at TBS Education is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the digital transformation industry. This subject, run by TBS Career Service, will help you reveal your talent and make choices in line with your deep aspirations.
Over the course of several lectures, workshops, individual tests, and coaching sessions, a specialist will support you from the start and help you find the right internship or job.
- Coaching: We will help you reflect on your skills, strengths, and areas for improvement. Through personality tests and individual coaching, we will link your self-knowledge with your ambitions and career choices while you study our masters in digital transformation and business innovation.

Master’s Dissertation
You will be asked to write an individual dissertation on a current marketing issue in the digital and/or innovation fields from an academic or professional perspective. You will be making a contribution to the study, analysis, formalization, and abstraction of the identified issue. The write-up should reflect the following:

- Resourcefulness: Ability to start and conceptualize a piece of research

Submitting a suitable master’s thesis is a compulsory requirement for graduation.
Optional Language Course
Make the most of your time in Barcelona by learning Spanish. We offer you the opportunity to take a 40-hour language course for beginners, included in the master’s tuition fee.
If you are planning to undertake your internship in Spain, speaking Spanish would be a highly valuable asset as most of the companies would expect you to be fluent in this language. That is why we encourage you to benefit from this opportunity.
The course’s timetable is embedded in your MSc Digital Transformation and Business Innovation so that you can combine it with the program’s classes and activities. However, it does not provide you with ECTS credits.
*Please, consider that we require a minimum of 8 students registered to offer each language course.
Optional Internship
You will have the chance to work as an intern at a national or international company over a 4-to-6-month period. This internship is not a mandatory condition for graduation in any of our MSc programs: MSc Fashion & Luxury Marketing, MSc Sustainable Financial Management with Daya Analytics, MSc Digital Marketing and Analytics, MSc Brand Management and Analytics, MSc International Business, and MSc Digital Transformation and Business Innovation.
However, TBS encourages you to undertake an internship to supplement your training with professional experience in the digital and innovation fields, as it would help towards better professional integration.

Qualification obtained
For holders of a 3-year bachelor’s degree:
- 2-year track: you will obtain a double degree, Master of Science degree and the Diploma of Specialised Studies in International Management (an official diploma accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.)
- 1-year track + Preparatory Program: you will obtain the Master of Science private degree*, awarded by TBS Education.
*Private degrees, also known as in-house degrees
For holders of a 4-year bachelor’s degree:
- 1-year track : you will obtain a double degree, Master of Science degree and the Diploma of Specialised Studies in International Management (an official diploma accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.)
