Program content
The MSc Brand Management and Creativity program takes place over 3 terms.
Thus, during the 1st term, you will learn Professional Expertise, working on a unique mix of hard (data scraping, data analysis) and soft (cultural branding, arts, design) sources of inspiration that will cultivate a 360 profile that companies are looking for.
In the 2nd term in our business school, you will continue deepening concepts like innovation, branding, and creativity, all of them revolving around the marketing field. Moreover, you will work on a Company Consulting Project to put into practice what you have learned in class with a real-life company.
In the 3rd term of the MSc Brand Management and Creativity program, you will need to work on your Master’s Dissertation, supported by the TBS Education faculty. Additionally, you will have the chance to undertake a 4-to-6-month curricular internship in a renowned national or international company.
Throughout the brand management and creativity master’s program, you will also benefit from the Soft Skills Certificate. Furthermore, you will have a variety of complementary activities to enhance your professional integration:

Company Consulting Mission (SESAME)
Put your consultancy skills to the test for two weeks during a hands-on, transversal, consultancy assignment!
You will be sent a letter of engagement from a TBS partner company representative about a current strategy issue.
Students pursuing this master’s in Brand Management and Creativtiy will receive support from TBS Education professors as they work on a strategic plan to assess the company’s competitive position. They will then suggest strategic and operational actions to meet the company’s challenges.
This hands-on project will allow you to put into practice the skills and knowledge you have obtained during your MSc program.

During this unit, you will develop the management and leadership abilities you need concerning the people and behavioral skills you need to move forward in your career in brand management and creativity. Meet-ups with Senior Marketing professionals
The MSc Brand Management & Creativity program brings the professional realm to students through direct interaction with industry experts*. These professionals from the marketing and branding sectors share their firsthand experiences, providing a unique glimpse into the realities of similar careers. Students will gain insights into daily work life, salary expectations, and can clarify any questions regarding the field.
In addition to the structured sessions, students will have the opportunity for networking during informal “meet and greet” moments. This setting allows for a more relaxed interaction where students can address their queries and engage in deeper conversations with the professionals, fostering a better understanding of the industry and building valuable connections.

Marketing Masterclasses
Additionally, the program features two masterclasses each year on significant brand management topics, such as FMCG Pricing Strategy, brand collaborations, and the interplay between brands and design.
These sessions are led by prominent figures in the industry, providing invaluable insights and perspectives. Following each masterclass, there will be a networking session, allowing students to connect with these industry leaders and discuss the insights shared, further enhancing their learning and professional network.
Cutting-edge Industry Certification
The program also includes a preparatory course aimed at obtaining an online certification, with students having the liberty to choose from a provided list that aligns best with their career aspirations. This approach offers an extension of the regular curriculum for those desiring a more applied or specialized focus. Examples of potential courses include:

Company visits
Gain hands-on learning experience to facilitate knowledge transfer to your future workplace by visiting some of the largest brands located in Barcelona.
To deepen your understanding through hands-on experience, you and your peers will engage in field trips to innovative companies. The visited companies will be closely related to marketing, brand management, and creativity, providing a comprehensive view of how these disciplines are integrated and practiced in the business world.
Optional Language Course
Maximize your experience in Barcelona by taking advantage of our 40-hour Spanish language course for beginners, which is included in your master’s program fees.
Being fluent in Spanish is a considerable advantage, especially if you’re considering an internship in Spain, where companies often expect proficiency in the language. Therefore, we recommend seizing this chance to enhance your language skills.
The course’s timetable is embedded in your MSc Brand Management and Creativity so that you can combine it with the program’s classes and activities. However, it does not provide you with ECTS credits. Finally, please consider that we require a minimum of 8 students registered to offer each language course.
Master’s Dissertation
You will need to write an individual dissertation on a current brand management issue from an academic or professional perspective. By doing so, you will contribute to the study, analysis, formalization, and abstraction of the issue in question. The dissertation should include the following:
- Motivation: Justifying your choice of the research issue
- Resourcefulness: Ability to start and plan a research article
- Creativity & common sense: Showing a structured and logical methodology
- Cross-functionality: Demonstrating a multidimensional approach to problem-solving
You must submit a suitable master’s thesis to graduate.
Curricular Internship
During this master’s degree in brand management, you will be given the chance to complete an internship at a company in Spain or abroad over a 4-to-6-month period.
How do I find an internship?
TBS Career Services will help you develop your skills and give you the professional tools you need to find the right internship for your career goals, while you are studying your digital marketing master. You will also be offered personalized coaching to ensure you make the most of your internship experience.
Finding an internship can be difficult as it requires perseverance, autonomy, and initiative. You will receive support for this project during the Career Services workshops, which will help you boost your employability.

Qualification obtained
For holders of a 3-year bachelor’s degree:
- 2-year track: you will obtain a double degree, Master of Science degree and the Diplôme d’études supérieures en Management Stratégique International (an official diploma accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.)
- 1-year track + Preparatory Program: you will obtain the Master of Science private degree*, awarded by TBS Education.
*Private degrees, also known as in-house degrees
For holders of a 4-year bachelor’s degree:
- 1-year track : you will obtain a double degree, Master of Science degree and the Diploma of Specialised Studies in International Management (an official diploma accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation).
