The French Tech train arrives in Barcelona
published on 08.06.23
The 4th edition of French Tech has approached our city by the departure of the French Tech train from Perpignan to Barcelona. This trip lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes, which allowed 30 start-ups to show their innovative projects to coaches, investors, banks and institutions.
A competition
Although the purposes of this event are networking and developing an appropriate environment for the Perpignan and French Mediterranean areas, as well as strengthen bonds with Catalan and Spanish tech companies, this act turns out to be a competition too.
The 30 start-ups that took part of this edition belong to one of these categories:
- Impact
- Sport Tech
- Creative Industries
Among these 30 French start-ups, the best 10 had the chance to pitch their projects in front of a French jury made up by investors and business angels. The pitching session took place at the TBS Education-Barcelona campus last evening. Our campus dean, Olivier Benielli, also attended the act, which he himself opened by welcoming all the start-ups, investors and institutions involved.
