Time: 18:30 h
📍 Place: Aula Magna
🌍 Language: Spanish.
🔗 Registration is mandatory

About the talk

The main concept to discuss will be “passing” a slang term in the trans community to describe when a person is immediately identified as a different gender from the one they identify with instead of the sex they were assigned at birth.  But, beyond this definition, the word “passing” also helps us to think about how everyone, not just trans people, interacts with gender norms and how this affects our daily lives.
