As part of the MSc International Business, students of this program attended the Internationalization days workshop.
Internationalization days workshop
This workshop is designed for full-time students of the MSc in International Business –
Barcelona to involve them in active consultancy and real challenge
resolution through a very innovative methodology called Binnakle2. The Professors Ryan
Armstrong and Jonathan Calleja from the University of Barcelona, StartUB!3, lead
students through the workshop.
The workshop lasted one week, from the 27th of November until the 1st of December and during this period, students were engaged in solving a problem and providing a solution to a real company challenge, being constantly supervised by mentors/facilitators who made sure to guide them toward an innovative and useful outcome for the company.
Organized by prof. Diana Filipescu, MSc International Business program manager, this workshop is one of the complementary activities that is included in the academic content of the degree.
Furthermore, in this edition, students experienced a challenge from Ms. Serina Nassif, New Business Development Lead at AL FAKHER5, a quality-driven shisha manufacturer since 1999. Ms. Nassif is also a TBS Education – Barcelona alumnus and has always been involved in the school community.
During the Workshop week, students also visited the Port of Barcelona and its
environment, having the opportunity to observe the operations first-hand, the traffic, the
infrastructure and the operators placed in the Port, through a boat tour with explanations.
