Highlights from the VI MPI Iberian Awards at TBS Education – Barcelona

Last thursday marked a remarkable occasion at TBS Education – Barcelona, as we had the honor of hosting the prestigious VI edition of the MPI Iberian Awards during the Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) event.
Over 140 MICE professionals gathered on our campus to honor the recipients and finalists, showcasing the thriving MICE sector’s importance in our local economy. It’s noteworthy that this year’s awards saw a record-breaking participation, with 109 nominations and increased involvement of women and young talents, emphasizing diversity and innovation in the industry.
The event, themed “Start preparing for the future,” also served as the platform for Eventscase to unveil EVA (Event Virtual Assistant), an AI-powered chatbot aimed at enhancing attendee interaction and engagement. Attendees were seamlessly guided through the event with QR codes for check-in and access to the agenda, ensuring a smooth and informative experience.
Hosted by Helena Canadell, the evening began with an entertaining performance by Planeta Impro to set the tone for the gala awards ceremony. Congratulations to all the winners across various categories, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the MICE sector!
The event concluded with a heartfelt thank-you to all sponsors, collaborators, and attendees for their continued support in amplifying the voice of the industry.
