From Mosaic to bottle: beyond a simple management work

Our MSc Brand Management & Creativity students, under the mentorship of the program manager and professor Fabien Pecot, explore their creativity and put their skills into practice by creating an amazing video that reimagines a hypothetical Desigual’s perfume. With a distinctive approach, the project draws inspiration from the Modernist art movement and the innovative concepts that define the Desigual brand.
Agata Darta, Marie Morin, Perrine Blachon, and Asad Saghir shared their work with us, presenting a proposal to transform an everyday product purchase into a piece of art.
In this project, they wanted to recreate the vibrant colors of Gaudí’s mosaics on the perfume bottle, drawing inspiration from the magnificent details of Gaudi’s Park Güell. Their work reflects the emotions and beauty they felt on the day they experienced in the park. However, their effort goes beyond making just a video. As they explained to us: “We thought about every aspect of it (smell, color, shape, customer, target, storytelling, persona, etc.)” What they delivered is just a tiny of a much larger process. During three incredibly productive days, they worked with the dedication of professionals responsible for shaping the branding of this unique brand spirit.
“We believe it would reach many people” they said, because it’s not just a product to be sold, it’s an artwork that challenges the ordinary and allows people to express themselves without barriers.
