Yesterday, we hosted the Career Fair at our campus, where 23 companies attended to offer internships and jobs to our last year Bachelor in Management and Master students.
This was an excellent opportunity for our students to go around the booth and establish this first face to face contact with recruiters before being called for a job/internship interview. Moreover, there was a range of companies to choose from operating in different fields, such as software technology, hospitality, consulting, digital services, food and beverage…
These events have a strong positive outcome considering the primary purpose: bonding and connecting students and companies. On the one hand, our students are seeking an entrance to a professional market to begin their careers. On the other hand, companies look for international, multi-language-speaking students with specific knowledge, which is the case for many TBS Education students.
Today and tomorrow the Career Fair will be going on in a hybrid format. Our students were able to make appointments in advance for remote interviews with companies based in France, Morocco and abroad.
PTC had taken part of this fair before, but never onsite. They were satisfied by the modernity of our new campus’ facilities, openly saying that it is very inviting. PTC’s perfect candidate, according one of their talent acquisition partners, Pauline Declerck, must be someone curious, proactive and ambitious, which they well found at our campus during the Career Fair since they have committed to stay in touch with a few students that they reached out and had engaging conversations with.
Amenitiz was seeking for students who are interested in an end-of-study internship or a full-time position as a first-time job focused on sales and costumer success roles. According to Camille Arnaud, talent acquisition partner of Amenitiz, this company has also found our brand-new campus comfortable and modern for students to develop their learning.
SAP has been participating in our Career Fair several times as well, which has allowed some of our TBS Alumni to be part of this company nowadays. Their perfect candidates must be business/IT-oriented, according to Tina Alsted Grejsen, head of external relations & university partnerships; preferably students who are willing to do an internship. However, they also took into considerations some profiles that could occupy positions for the Nordic market.
